Sanjay Gandhi Mahila Inter College, Gaya (Affliated to Bihar School Education Board, Patna) was humbly started in the year 1980 by a few philanthropic and dedicated people of Gaya. The college was inaugurated by DR Parshu Ram Mishra, with initial Intermediate Arts, Science and teaching.
The college has, presently, more than two thousand students on roll, imparting education in all the three faculties (Science, Arts and Commerce) up to Three Years Degree Course upto Honours level to the students belonging to economically and socially backward communities of Bihar.
